A Place Like All Others

2018 – 2022

The series of images examines the relationship between the photograph, body, urban space, and technology in the context of globalised production and neoliberal governance. The work, set in Dublin and Helsinki, reflects on the symbolism and imagery used to influence the place-making process and rewrite our understanding of the contemporary city. The presence of the body within the photographs acts as an allegory to demonstrate our relationship with modern urban space.
