I am an image-maker, researcher and educator working between Finland and Ireland. I completed a practice-led Masters by Research at IADT Dún Laoghaire in 2018 on the role of the image in the transformation of urban topographies in the context of globalised production and neoliberal governance. In addition, I hold a qualification in Visual Education and while residing in Ireland taught photography at the Gallery of Photography and Dún Laoghaire Further Education Institute in Dublin. I currently teach photography courses at the Espoo Adult Education Centre in Tapiola near Helsinki, Finland and am a board member with the trans-cultural artist group Catalysti.

I started my professional career as a software developer working for large global based corporations and that experience is a key influence in my work, which has been exhibited in various places in both Ireland and Finland. I also do extensive academic research with my projects and am interested in how the photographic image is deployed to support certain views of the world through ideology. I maintain a blog on my research, which I update a few times a year and it can be accessed here.

I am represented by The Copper House Gallery in Dublin, Ireland where you can view a collection of my work.
